In Greek, the word for "power" is dynamite! At Arlington Heights, our youth, the Cool Corpus Christi Christians, are a powerful force for God--and they're pretty "explosive" also. Below are just a few of the activities in which our youth are involved.
HOPS |
HOUR OF PRAYER SESSION is conducted weekly on Monday nights for our teens. We meet together from 7:00 to 8:00 to lift up to God the needs of each of us, the youth group, and our friends and families. |
S.O.S. |
SERVICE ON SATURDAYS is an opportunity for our youth to reach out to others in the church or the community and to simply SERVE. If the world is going to know Christians by our love, we have to DO loving acts. SOS is just one of those ways to show that love. |
DEVOS |
C4 loves to get together to sing and study God's Word. We meet for Devos (short for devotionals) every Sunday night and several other times throughout the month. Sometimes the high school and junior high kids are together, and sometimes not. Everybody needs a chance to talk about what is going on in their lives and devos are where that happens. |
FUN |
No acronym this time; we just like having fun! From going to Schlitterbahn to activities with teens from all over the Coastal Bend to trips to the beach to game days at the Family Center, we love being together and having fun. Whoever said being a Christian was boring hasn't hung out with us very much!!!!! |
